This USA designed and engineered amp is very dependable and rugged, backed with 30 years of Kustom's expertise in design. Whether you're an accomplished musician who requires a small amp for practice and rehearsal, or a beginner who needs an inexpensive first amplifier, the KGA10 amp is for you!

FRONT PANEL FEATURES:

  1. Overdrive - Switches between the clean and overdrive channels. The switching is quiet and noise-free. For a clean, undistorted sound, turn DRIVE switch off. The gain control only operates if the DRIVE switch is on.

  3. Input - This is an instrument level input for plugging in your guitar. You may also plug in a keyboard, drum machine, mixer, cassette deck, CD or any pre-amplified signal, ALTHOUGH care must be taken with the output level on the unit so as to achieve a clean, clear sound. If you notice any unwanted distortion in this case, turn down the volume control on the device in question.

  5. Gain - This is the overdrive control for the distorted (boosted) channel. This control determines the amount of distortion and sustain. You may turn this control all the way up for that spectacular crunch sound.

  7. Voice - This control is used like a tone control to add or subtract the sounds in wide range (250 Hz to 2 kHz) frequencies. This exclusive V.V.C. (Variable Voice Control) circuitry in not merely a tone control, but provides a larger array of tonal characteristics to suit your particular sound. Active in either clean or overdrive mode.

  9. Volume - This is the overall level control for both channels and determines how loud the amplifier gets. Active in either clean or overdrive mode.

  11. Headphones - A 1/4" 3-conductor stereo headphone jack for plugging in headphones. This will disconnect the internal speaker for quiet private practicing.

  13. Power - This on/off switch provides power to the unit.

BACK PANEL FEATURES:

  1. AC Line Cord - See back page 'Electrical connections and supply' for more information. It is grounded and should NEVER have the ground pin removed for any reason.
